The Select 500 features Bluetooth Low Energy Audio and Bluetooth Auracast™, enabling things like hands-free calling for select Android devices (see compatibility) and broadcasting audio directly to your hearing aids at locations equipped with Auracast.

  Bluetooth LE Audio is the new standard in connectivity that improves audio quality, battery life, and enables more stable connections. Advanced uses include sharing your audio with other LE Audio-enabled devices. Many concert venues, event spaces, and transit stations are expected to offer support for live broadcast audio transmission to an unlimited number of Auracast devices.   You sure can! Many of our customers wear hearing aids and glasses together comfortably. While there may be an adjustment period, a properly fitting hearing aid will stay put. Our tip is to avoid glasses with particularly thicker arms.

  Our high-quality hearing aids feature the same technology as many that are sold in brick-and-mortar audiologist offices, but through our online direct-to-consumer approach and Care & Protection Package options, we're able to keep costs low and pass the savings on to you. We've found that our hearing aids are typically thousands less than the national average price of a traditional in-person clinic.

  For the best camouflage, we recommend selecting a color that closely matches your hair color. If you don't have enough hair to cover them, match your skin tone instead. Rest assured that no matter which color you choose, we've found that our small devices are still barely noticeable.

• How tech-savvy do I have to be to use Jabra Enhance Select hearing devices?

  Anyone with a compatible smartphone or tablet can use Enhance Select hearing aids — we make it easy! Our straightforward technology was designed for all levels, and we use common video platforms like Zoom for meeting with our Audiology Team (Premium Package customers). Rest assured, our friendly Customer Support Team is also available by phone or email 7 days a week for whatever you need.

• How does virtual hearing care work?

  With our Premium Package, once you receive your Enhance Select hearing aids, you'll enjoy 3 years of follow-up hearing care. We'll connect you to a licensed hearing specialist via video conference for an initial orientation call and a series of follow-ups as needed. After you're all set up, you can request easy adjustments through the Jabra Enhance Select app, as often as you like. And if you ever have an issue, our friendly Customer Support Team is a phone call away.

• How does my hearing professional adjust my setting remotely?

  With our Premium Care & Protection Package, once you connect your hearing aids to the Jabra Enhance Select app via Bluetooth and a compatible device, you can request a remote adjustment, any time. No need to come into an office or make an appointment. In the app, simply answer a few questions to tell us about the sound issue, then our Audiology Team will adjust your settings for you. They can also make adjustments for you when you meet with them via a scheduled video appointment. When our team sends you the new settings in the app, you'll download them to your devices and start noticing the change instantly.

• Are Jabra Enhance Select 500 hearing aids over-the-counter?

  Yes, the hearing aids we sell are categorized as over-the-counter (OTC). No matter which combination of model and Care & Protection Package you choose, our devices are compliant with the FDA's medical device regulations for OTC hearing aids.
