Path of Exile offers many classes for you to choose from. There are pure classes that are meant for builds that focus on just one stat, such as Strength (STR), Dexterity (DEX), and Intelligence (INT). And, there are the hybrid classes that provide you with a balance of two stats. The Duelist is part of the latter group with a relatively high STR/DEX at the beginning that scales well into the endgame.
In this article, we are going to talk about the Duelist and what separates it apart from the other classes in the game. Additionally, we will reveal our picks for the best Duelist builds in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur League. So, read further to learn more. This is going to be a good one!
Why Choose the Duelist
The Duelist is one of the hybrid classes in PoE that gives a good balance of STR and DEX. It specializes in melee combat, though there are ways for this class to utilize projectile skill gems as well.
Completing the first labyrinth allows you to ascend to three"advanced" classes. Each ascendancy class has its own identity, with different notable passive skills that separate them from each other.
What are these advanced classes? We are glad you have asked!
Champion
There has been a meta shift in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur League and the three Duelist ascendancy classes have been reshuffled in terms of their power. The Champion, which used to provide a good balance of offense and defense, has been nerfed quite heavily in Patch 3.25. Therefore, builds that use this particular ascendancy class are now mediocre at best, at least, relative to the investment put in them.
So, what got nerfed actually? Well, Fortitude now only grants 15 stacks of Fortification as opposed to 20 stacks previously. This change is quite noticeable, especially when it comes to getting bombarded by physical attacks on all sides.
However, the biggest change in this league is that Unstoppable Hero no longer grants increased attack speed while Fortified. Rather, it now provides you with a means to share your Fortification stacks with other players.
You could argue that Unstoppable Hero is more suited for party play, but the vast majority of PoE players engage with the game solo. Hence, the nerfs to the Champion ascendancy class are unfortunate.
Be that as it may, some of its nodes are still good. First to Strike, Last to Fall still grants Adrenaline, which should give you a huge boost to damage, attack speed, and movement speed when your life falls below a certain threshold.
Inspirational works well with the Banner Rework. Whenever you plant a banner, you recover 30% of the Valour that was consumed for that banner. This is in addition to the "30% Increased Effect of Non-Curse Auras from Your Skills."
Overall damage when choosing the Champion as your ascendancy class has dipped considerably, though it is not as bad as the previous iteration of the Gladiator.
Gladiator
If the Champion is now the weakest Duelist ascendancy class, which of the remaining ones takes the second place? Well, that would be the Gladiator! That's right, the Gladiator has received a much-needed rework in the Settlers of Kalguur expansion.
This ascendancy class now has a bunch of new notable passive skills that provide a good balance of damage and survivability. Gratuitous Violence is still there, which makes bleeding enemies explode on kill, now dealing 20% of their maximum life as physical damage to nearby monsters.
Right next to it is Jagged Technique — a new notable ascendancy passive skill that causes bleeding enemies to receive damage as though they are moving. With this node allocated, the damage the enemies get is effectively tripled!
Weapon Master is another new node that grants different bonuses depending on the type of weapon equipped. For example, if you are wielding an axe, you get 30% more damage with hits and ailments against enemies that are on low life.
Measured Retaliation is great if you are into using the new Retaliation Skills in Path of Exile. In case you do not know, these skills can only be activated once you block an attack and you only have a small window of opportunity to use them. With this notable passive skill, Retaliation Skills like Eviscerate become usable for a couple more seconds. Furthermore, you gain a 50% chance for Retaliation Skills to remain usable and not consume a cooldown on use!
Then, you have the combo of Determined Survivor and More Than Skill for defense. The former grants you a higher chance to block when you equip a shield and bonuses that you get from dual-wielding are effectively doubled as well. The latter, on the other hand, makes your attack/spell block chance "Lucky" making you block hits from the enemy more often.
The Gladiator was not known to be a boss-killer in Path of Exile. However, with the new "War of Attrition" notable ascendancy passive skill, you gain a 1% damage bonus for every second a rare or unique enemy is within your presence, up to a maximum of 100%. This bonus allows you to deal with pinnacle bosses easily, especially if the fights take a long time to finish.
Slayer
While the Gladiator is certainly quite amazing in terms of its more balanced approach in Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur, the Slayer is geared towards those who are on the offensive. Unlike its brethren, the Slayer has incredible damage nodes that aid in slaying enemies quickly, and improved survivability by utilizing insane amounts of life leech.
Impact is an amazing notable ascendancy passive skill that grants a huge amount of accuracy and damage, which greatly helps you with gearing options early on.
Bane of Legends ensures that you have enough damage to kill even the toughest of monsters. This ascendancy node even rewards you with more damage, so long as you are on a killing spree.
To add to that point, the Headsman is usually taken after Bane of Legends. The 10% increase in attack speed and movement speed are great bonuses to have, encouraging you to have a more active style of play. What's more, this node allows you to cull enemies that are below 20% of their max HP, thereby increasing your map-clearing speed immensely.
If you have seen people in the PoE community talking about the Slayer's "overleech," they are referring to Brutal Fervour. When this node is taken, any life you have leeched off of your enemies will continue to heal you regardless of your current HP. Furthermore, Brutal Fervour reduces your damage taken so long as you are leeching life and/or mana.
Endless Hunger just amplifies Brutal Fervour in more ways than one. It gives you increased attack speed, more life leech, and stun immunity while you are leeching.
Despite being an offensive class, the Slayer has some defensive features baked in as well. Take the Overwhelm node, for example. This not only boosts your critical strike chance, but also reduces the critical damage done by your enemies by 30%. When you allocate this notable ascendancy passive skill, it is best that you raise your critical strike chance as high as you possibly can. This is so that you can take full advantage of the +100% to critical strike multiplier provided by this node.
How about the last node? Masterful Form might look boring on the surface, but if you read it carefully, this passive skill is very useful, especially if you are thinking about stacking Frenzy Charges.
Best Duelist Builds in PoE 3.25
Because of the massive changes to most melee skill gems in Path of Exile, you can expect that the top Duelist Builds in PoE 3.25 utilize them in one way or another.
The meta has truly shifted, with a few new entries using the newly reworked Gladiator ascendancy class. With that out of the way, here are the best Duelist builds in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur League:
10. Explosive Arrow Champion
+League starter
+Can work on a minimal investment
+Beginner-friendly
-Not an endgame build
-Not ideal for those who want more direct damage
Despite heavy nerfs to the ascendancy class, the Explosive Arrow Champion is surprisingly still one of the best Duelist builds in Path of Exile 3.25. This build heavily relies on totems to fire explosive arrows that explode on enemies.
The passive tree has its nodes move around a bit due to the addition and removal of some nodes. Panopticon, which was previously an integral part of the build, is one of those nodes that got deleted from PoE. Fortunately, you have the ability to summon an additional totem due to the change in the "Surveillance" node located at the bottom right of the passive tree.
One of the main selling points of this build is that it can work on a minimal investment. Hence, it is touted as a great league starter because you can simply use any suitable gear you can find during your leveling journey.
That said, your bow and quiver is mainly to improve the gems and attack speed of your totems, as well as the Explosive Arrow skill gem itself. If you like the playstyle of the build, you could go for a self-crafted bow with better mods.
For the notable passive skills, you have Fortitude for a permanent 15% physical damage reduction. Inspirational is taken to improve the effects of your auras, namely, Determination and Grace.
After that, there's Conqueror and Worthy Foe. The former allows you to taunt enemies on hit, while the latter makes taunted enemies take 20% increased damage as a result. The monsters you have taunted also cannot evade attacks, which makes every arrow your totem's fire count.
If you are wondering why you cannot deal damage, it is because this build has Ancestral Bond. This is a keystone passive that enables you to summon one additional totem in exchange for not being able to deal damage with skills when fired by you.
On top of that, this build relies on damage over time, so if you want a character that eliminates foes with direct damage, then this one might not be for you.
However, if you are fine with its downsides, the Explosive Arrow Champion is actually worth using!
9. Eviscerate Gladiator
+Insane damage output
+League starter
+Utilizes Retaliation Skills really well
-Playstyle might not appeal to some
This next build utilizes the new Retaliation Skills to a much greater extent. The Eviscerate Gladiator can handle pretty much any content you throw at it in Path of Exile. It has great survivability thanks to Determined Survivor and More Than Skill and it can even go head-to-head with pinnacle bosses when equipped with the right gear!
For the uninitiated, Retaliation Skills like Eviscerate can only be usable after blocking an attack. When used, you unleash an arcing slash in front of you, which applies the bleeding status effect to enemies that are hit by the attack.
The arcing slash from Eviscerate may miss some of the enemies that you are directly targeting, but you can rectify that by putting as many "% Increased Area of Effect" mods on your gear and on your passive tree.
You do not have to worry about the brief window of opportunity when using Eviscerate because this build has Measured Retaliation. As mentioned earlier, this is a Gladiator-exclusive ascendancy node that makes Retaliation Skills become usable for an additional two seconds. What's more, you have the chance to use Eviscerate a second time before it goes on cooldown!
Due to the nature of Eviscerate, where there is a chance that the attack could miss your intended target, you can supplement the build by using Crushing Fist as well. This is another Retaliation Skill that prompts you to slam the ground, hitting enemies within its AoE.
Both skills deal physical damage, which is why your weapon should be an axe with a trifecta of physical damage mods to make them even more damaging.
For your last notable ascendancy passive, you have a few options. First, you can take Gratuitous Violence if you aim for a much smoother mapping experience. Second, you can have Weapon Master, which should give you a considerable boost in overall damage when wielding an axe. Third, you could take War of Attrition and turn this build into a good boss killer.
The Eviscerate Gladiator is surprisingly very good. If anything, we would not be surprised if GGG nerfs Retaliation Skills in the next league due to how powerful they are in their current state.
Be that as it may, you should try the Eviscerate Gladiator out!
8. Splitting Steel Champion
+Projectile build that deals heavy critical damage
+Competent mapper
-Bossing is not its strong suit
-Expensive upgrades
The Splitting Steel Champion is one of the only projectile-based builds on this list and it is a darn good one at that. The skill gem itself, Splitting Steel, is now comfortable and reliable to use because you no longer have to "reload" the split projectiles.
Anyway, as the name implies, Splitting Steel is an attack skill gem that prompts you to throw a single projectile. Once this projectile hits your intended target, it splits into multiple smaller projectiles, hitting nearby enemies in the process.
The build excels at mapping, allowing you to clear the entire area in less than three minutes, especially when you are properly geared. Speaking of which, the Splitting Steel Champion is a league starter, though its upgrades require a substantial investment.
One of the most integral items for this build is the Nimis, which makes it so that the projectiles that you fire return to you after reaching their maximum travel distance. This is the item that gives you enough power to clear maps with ease.
Another item you can invest in is the Ashes of the Stars. On a good roll, this unique amulet grants 30% quality to all of your skill gems. For this build, this enhances the Impale effect of Splitting Steel's projectiles.
Then, you have the Beltimber Blade — a one-handed sword that makes your Splitting Steel fire two additional projectiles, so long as you are constantly moving. This weapon also makes the projectiles hit harder due to Far Shot.
As for the notable ascendancy passive skills, you have Master of Metal. This node allows you to apply an additional impale. Furthermore, you deal added physical damage for each Impale stack on the enemy.
First to Strike, Last to Fall is basically taken as a way to boost your damage via Adrenaline. You could incorporate Corrupting Fever as a means of availing this damage buff on demand, though you have the option of letting it activate on its own when your HP falls below 50%.
The Splitting Steel Champion is one of those builds that do not feel left out after the nerfs to the said ascendancy class. This build still packs a punch and is definitely worth the investment if you are willing to spend some currency.
7. Ground Slam of Earthshaking Slayer
+Massive amounts of damage
+Good area clear
+High HP
-Slower build compared to others
-Relies on a lot of warcry skills
Grinding Gear Games has buffed nearly all of the melee skill gems in Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur. This includes the primary skill gem that is utilized by the next build on our list.
The Ground Slam of Earthshaking Slayer is a melee build that uses a transfigured version of Ground Slam. It deals a much higher damage than its base counterpart and covers a much wider area. However, this comes at the expense of higher mana cost and slower attack time.
The damage of this build relies heavily on the warcry skills. In fact, you will use several warcries, including Rallying Cry, Intimidating Cry, Battlemage's Cry, and Seismic Cry. This is due to the new Overexertion support, which grants supported attacks an 18% damage boost for each warcry exerting them.
Do not worry about the sheer number of warcries used here because most of them are activated automatically thanks to Autoexertion support. Keep in mind that warcries supported by this gem cannot grant additional bonuses. So, if you want to take advantage of their effects, you should not link them with the said support gem.
In terms of ascendancy nodes, you have the usual suite of notable passive skills, such as Bane of Legends, Headsman, Brutal Fervour, and Impact.
Brutal Fervour helps with your survivability by allowing you to leech life consistently. Bane of Legends, Headsman, and Impact provide a considerable damage boost, particularly when fighting rare or unique monsters.
If there is one thing to note about this build, it is a bit slow compared to the others on this list. This is because of the heavy reliance on warcry skills. Besides that, slam skills, in general, have a slower cast time compared to other skills.
However, if those downsides do not bother you, then the Ground Slam of Earthshaking Slayer is definitely worth checking out!
6. Spectral Shield Throw Gladiator
+Fast Mapper
+Budget-friendly
+Utilizes bleed explosions thanks to Gratuitous Violence
-Slower boss-killing time due to DoT
The Spectral Shield Throw Gladiator (or simply SST Gladiator) is a budget-friendly league starter in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur.
SST allows you to throw a spectral copy of your shield that splits into multiple smaller projectiles, hitting several enemies as a result. This skill gem gets more powerful for every 15 points of armor on your equipped shield.
For that reason, you can equip something like Emperor's Vigilance, which is a unique shield that has a huge amount of armor due to the mods on it. Emperor's Vigilance also grants Glancing Blows, effectively doubling your chance to block attacks and spells at the cost of receiving 65% of the damage. Because of this, you can basically take other nodes instead of Determined Survivor or More Than Skill for defenses.
Gratuitous Violence and Jagged Technique make the bleeds inflicted by SST become more potent and deadly. Then, you have Weapon Master to boost your damage by wielding an axe.
For the last notable ascendancy passive skill, you could take Determined Survivor, especially if you want to incorporate Retaliation Skills like Eviscerate or Glacial Shield Swipe as part of your rotation.
If you are not into those skills, you can take War of Attrition instead. This makes it so that you can kill bosses more easily, particularly when the fights become lengthy.
Our only gripe with this build is that it has a relatively slow boss-killing time compared to the Splitting Steel Champion, for example. But, if this is okay, then the Spectral Shield Throw Gladiator is good enough.
5. Cyclone Slayer
+Easy and comfortable playstyle
+Spin to win
+Got a damage boost in Patch 3.25
-Requires heavy investment in the endgame
Cyclone is one of the original skill gems in PoE. It is best known for its laid-back playstyle. This is because all you have to do is press and hold the hotkey for Cyclone and then watch as your character kills enemies while spinning.
In Patch 3.25, Cyclone got a substantial damage increase. More specifically, it now has its effectiveness of base and added damage increased from 59% all the way to 111%! There is a slight bump in mana cost at gem level 20, but that is something that can easily be addressed through gear.
Speaking of gear, the Cyclone Slayer can be played as a league starter as it doesn't really need anything specific in order to work. However, the upgrades for the endgame version of the build are a bit expensive.
For one, you need to have a crafted two-handed warstaff so that you can link Cyclone with Shockwave Support for even more damage. Besides that, this build shines when you slot a few Large Cluster Jewels with specific nodes on them, which may be expensive if you buy them from other players.
Just like the Ground Slam of Earthshaking Slayer, this build has the same notable ascendancy passive skills, including Impact, Brutal Fervour, Bane of Legends, and Headsman. Probably, the only thing that's different here is that you can invest in the Forbidden Flame and Forbidden Flesh jewels to gain access to Master of Metal from the Champion ascendancy for the improved Impale.
Although the endgame version of the build requires a heavy investment, there are multiple options you can take in terms of upgrades. You could invest in a Mageblood to give you a smoother playing experience overall. You could get a well-rolled Abyssus for more physical damage. And, you can even take The Celestial Brace for some added physical damage reduction. Really, the sky's the limit here!
With an easy playstyle and an insane damage output, it is no wonder that the Cyclone Slayer is one of the best Duelist builds in Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur!
4. Flicker Strike Slayer
+Move Fast, Slay Quickly
+Has the power to decimate anything in the game
+The only ascendancy class worthy of the skill gem
-Expensive
-Survivability could be better
For a long time, the Raider was the only ascendancy class that could fully harness the power of Flicker Strike. But, the Raider has now been deleted from the game, making the Slayer as the king.
The Flicker Strike Slayer is one of the most powerful Duelist builds in PoE 3.25. This is possible by taking advantage of several mechanics.
First, let's talk about Flicker Strike itself. In Patch 3.25, Flicker Strike saw a huge damage increase from 210% to 408% effectiveness of base and added damage. In other words, this skill becomes more devastating as you invest in better gear.
Second, the newly reworked Rage makes it so that you gain a huge damage boost for every point of the said resource. Sure, you lose the attack speed and movement speed bonus, but the damage you could gain per point of Rage is undeniably good.
Third, you have Arn's Anguish — a unique belt that converts all your Endurance Charges to Brutal Charges. The Brutal Charges allow you to deal triple damage, which is quite often due to the fast attack speed of this build.
Lastly, you have Replica Farrul's Fur. This is a staple in many Flicker Strike builds in Path of Exile as it essentially gives you permanent uptime of your Frenzy and Endurance Charges. This also rectifies the loss of Endurance Charges due to Arn's Anguish. To maximize the said body armor, you will take Masterful Form from the Slayer’s ascendancy passive tree. In case you don't know, this grants +1 to Maximum Frenzy Charges.
Even though the Flicker Strike Slayer is not as expensive as the Raider variant in the previous league, it is still expensive to put up nonetheless. Replica Farrul's Fur, for example, runs for roughly 30 to 40 Divine Orbs at the time of writing.
If there's one thing that could be improved, it would be this build's survivability. But, if you are able to quickly dispatch enemies before they hit you, the Flicker Strike Slayer is an awesome build without a doubt!
3. Frost Blades of Katabasis Slayer
+Unlimited range
+Good survivability due to constant freeze
+Affordable
-Requires some unique items
The Frost Blades of Katabasis Slayer is an interesting build due to the mechanics at play here. Despite being a "melee" attack skill gem, Frost Blades of Katabasis actually has unlimited range, allowing you to hit enemies from a distance.
However, unlike its base counterpart, the Transfigured Gem can only hit one target at a time. Fortunately, it leaves a chilled ground that deals cold damage over time to enemies that step on it.
Now, the reason why this build is interesting is that it interacts with Southbound really well. Southbound is a pair of unique gloves in Path of Exile that increase the freeze duration on enemies. But, it has a certain line that may deter some from using it and that's "Your Hits Can Only Kill Frozen Enemies." Well, there are a couple of ways to address that.
Frost Blades of Katabasis leaves a chilled ground that damages enemies that are within its area of effect. If you are unable to freeze enemies, the chilled ground should eliminate them.
Another way to kill enemies even with Southbound equipped is by linking Frost Blades of Katabasis to Ice Bite. This support gem increases your chance of freezing by a considerable amount. Furthermore, you gain added cold damage per Frenzy Charge. Getting plenty of Frenzy Charges is quite achievable thanks to the Slayer's Masterful Form ascendancy node.
To improve the damage of this build even further, you can equip the Heatshiver. Hitting frozen enemies with your primary attack skill allows you to gain 30% extra fire damage as a result.
Because you'll be freezing enemies with ease, the Frost Blades of Katabasis Slayer actually has relatively good survivability.
In addition, most of the items on this build are relatively affordable. The only expensive gear that you'll wear is a well-crafted claw with cold damage, crit, and attack speed.
Other than that, the Frost Blades Katabasis Slayer is easy to recommend due to its power relative to the amount of currency you invest in it.
2. Lacerate of Haemorrhage Gladiator
+Great for SSF
+Can work on a budget
+Excellent mapper
-Damage in the endgame could be improved
The penultimate build on this list is one that you can run in SSF (Solo Self-Found) and even as a league starter. That is because it can work on gear that you can find during your leveling journey.
That said, the Lacerate of Haemorrhage Gladiator is an incredible build that is fun to play, easy to run, and can go off rather quickly just by taking the appropriate ascendancy nodes. But before that, let's talk about the primary attack skill first.
Lacerate of Haemorrhage is a melee skill that deals more damage with bleeds rather than the initial hit. In Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur, it received a significant boost in damage, from 120% to 346% effectiveness of base and added damage.
The skill gem has lost the added physical damage against bleeding enemies, but this is something that you can rectify just by putting physical damage mods on your gear. Aside from Lacerate of Haemorrhage, you will utilize Bladestorm to create a stationary storm of blades that can inflict bleeds as well.
The interaction with the Gladiator's Jagged Technique and Gratuitous Violence makes this build amazing to use as a mapper. In fact, you could see bleed explosions quite often because of how bleed damage works with the former ascendancy node.
In terms of defense, you have a high block chance thanks to Determined Survivor and More Than Skill. And oh, you will also allocate a point to Versatile Combatant — a keystone passive that raises your spell block chance for each point of overcapped "Chance to Block Attack Damage."
Replacing Bladestorm with Eviscerate is another option you can take as well. This is for a more dynamic playstyle, especially since the said Retaliation Skill also inflicts bleeds on enemies that are hit with the attack.
While this build can certainly work on self-found gear, its upgrades are, of course, expensive. But, compared to the other builds on this list, the Lacerate of Haemorrhage Gladiator is one of the best SSF Duelist builds in Path of Exile 3.25 for sure!
1. Lightning Strike Slayer
+The "best" build for Duelists in Patch 3.25
+Insane damage output relative to gear investment
+League start-viable
-Needs good positioning to maximize damage
-Expensive gear upgrades due to build's popularity
And, the best Duelist build in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur League is none other than the Lightning Strike Slayer! That's right, we now utilize the Slayer instead of the Champion due to the nerfs that were implemented to the latter in Patch 3.25.
What makes this build incredible is the scalability of the Lightning Strike skill gem itself. First of all, this got a huge damage increase just like the other melee skills on this list. On top of that, there are some unique items that improve the damage of this build in one way or another.
Take the unique ring called "The Taming" as an example. This ring got rebalanced in the Settlers of Kalguur expansion, where you gain a substantial boost in elemental damage for each type of elemental ailment you have applied to the enemy.
In case you're not aware, there are seven elemental ailments in Path of Exile. They are Chill, Freeze, Shock, Ignite, Brittle, Scorch, and Sap. The last three can only be acquired if you use the Secrets of Suffering unique cluster jewel.
With The Taming, you have a considerable chance of inflicting Freeze, Shock, and Ignite simply by attacking enemies with Lightning Strike. And, since you'll be using a crafted claw with triple elemental damage mods (fire, cold, and lightning), you can apply the said elemental ailments with a problem!
What if you will use the Secrets of Suffering? Well, if you go this route, you could enable Summon Skitterbots to apply Chill and Shock, in addition to Brittle, Sap, and Scorch. This means that you're able to inflict five elemental ailments for even more damage with The Taming!
Another unique item you can invest in the endgame is Nimis. This makes projectiles return to you, but without the damage penalty of the aptly named Returning Projectiles Support. With this ring equipped, you can swap Returning Projectiles Support with another support gem like Inspiration Support or Elemental Damage with Attacks.
For damage mitigation, you can stack Frenzy and Endurance Charges with Masterful Form. Endurance Charges now reduce the elemental damage you take, by the way, which is great for survivability.
If you want an incredible league starter that you can take well into the endgame, then the Lightning Strike Slayer is definitely one of the best out there in Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur!
Conclusion
Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur has made some interesting changes that certainly changed the meta, for better or worse.
The Champion is now the least powerful of the three ascendancy classes available to the Duelist, with the Gladiator taking the second place. The Slayer is still at the top of the food chain due to its ascendancy nodes that improve offense in various ways.
In our Path of Exile 3.25 Settlers of Kalguur round-up, the top Duelist builds for this league mostly use melee skills. This is due to the balancing changes GGG has implemented in Patch 3.25.
Eviscerate Gladiator utilizes the new Retaliation Skills really well. If you want a rather dynamic playstyle, this is the build that you should set your eyes on.
Ground Slam of Earthshaking Slayer is clunky to use compared to the other builds on this list. But make no mistake, this build hits hard and can destroy any monster it comes across.
Frost Blades of Katabasis is an interesting one as it uses the Southbound unique gloves to ensure that enemies are frozen and stay frozen until you kill them.
Lacerate of Haemorrhage Gladiator is an amazing build that perfectly captures the essence of the said ascendancy class. The combo of Gratuitous Violence and Jagged Technique allows you to make quick work of the enemy.
Of course, the Lightning Strike Slayer now takes the crown. Aside from the damage buff to the skill gem itself, this build can scale its damage from various sources, such as the ascendancy nodes from the Slayer, from items like The Taming, and a well-crafted Claw with a trifecta of elemental damage modifiers.
No matter which builds you choose from this list, you can never go wrong with any of them. We hope that you have enjoyed this article. So, which one are you going to try soon? Do let us know!
Anyway, with all of that said, good luck on your adventures in Wraeclast, Exile!
